The World Health Organization today released, the “WHO report on the global tobacco epidemic, 2019”.
WHO publishes this report every two years. The emphasis this year is on measures that “Offer help to quit tobacco use”. The report also provides detailed information about national requirements/status worldwide regarding taxation, smoke-free laws, advertising/promotion bans/restrictions, package warnings/labelling, mass media campaigns, surveillance, and prevalence, as well as some other information.
